Are we friends or not?

Written with a pen, sealed with a kiss,
If you are my friend, please answer me this:
Are we friends, or are we not?
You told me once, but I forgot.
So tell me now, and tell me true,
So I can say I'm here for you.
Of all the friends I've ever met,
You're the one I won't forget.
And if I die before you do,
I'll go to Heaven and wait for you,
I'll give the angels back their wings
And risk the loss of everything.
There isn't a thing I wouldn't do,
To have a friend just like you!

If I wanted to describe you,

I would need to learn
To write in numbers

For there are only
Letters in the alphabet
But an
Of numbers

And I would need every one of them,
Just to describe you

(My poem is inspired by One Direction's new song 'Infinity')

Wounded knees, mango trees,
Walking down the same old street,

Eight years old, feeling bold,
A gash on the nose and an awful cold,

Chicken pox, knee-high socks,
Folded letters in a black shoe box,

Ponytails, fairy tales,
Choir practice, don't forget to exhale,

Chapter books, nasty looks,
Never had the chance to cook,

Constant smothers, doting mother,
Shamelessly listening to The Jonas Brothers,

Toothy grins, double chin,
Constantly losing bobby pins,

Cheeks flushed, prep crush,
I still regret that very much,

Detention, pay attention,
Meet everyone's expectations,

Disappointment, good intent
Nothing that I said was meant,

Growing up, just shut up,
Remember it's okay to mess up,

Years went by, I wonder why,
When did my childhood say goodbye?

How does London’s moon look down?
With extra shine from queen’s posh crown?
Does it smolder just the same?
Does is whisper out your name?
I bet it speaks with British charm,
To crush my heart with further harm.

Do Scotland’s stars burn just as bright?
Making you feel like you’ll take fancy flight?
Gazing from across the pond,
Do they sing a sweet and airy song?
Oh, maybe you can make a wish
That our hearts won’t be as apart as this.

I wait for 12 am
to be the first to wish you
Happy Birthday.

I let you hug me
as tightly as you want and
let you let go whenever.

I smile when you say
I look pretty and ignored
you repeating it to others.

I trust that you were looking
into my eyes and
not anywhere else.

I was touched when you
told them to get off me,
You're a gentleman.

I over think,
everything you do and say
because like you said,
I'm silly.
-Khushi Jain

Do you hear that?

Do you hear that?
That's my heart breaking.
Don't worry, it's only mine.
It's not like it matters.
It's not like I matter to you.
At least not how you do.

It saddens me
Help me
I'm falling
I don't want to let go of you...

Every girl needs a guy best friend...

So again my friend suggested me this topic and writing about my guy best friend is a privilege. #thanksdodo
P.s He is the most craziest person I have ever met!

Thank you for not thinking I am weird
i mean, we both know i am weird
but you just ignore it
and that makes me happy.
You teased me and even broke my heart
But, I know nothing could tear us apart
You are my guy best friend
A friend I can count on
A friend I can trust
Having a guy best friend like you is an absolute plus!
Sometimes I get in a goofy mood
and start laughing at thing
that aren't really funny
I start cracking the lamest jokes
and i need you around because you won't judge me for that
By the way, you were the weirdest guy
who made me feel normal
You remind me of a rainbow
You're bright, somewhat mysterious,
and just so perfect in so many way

and you don't even know it.

Story of a banana!

Okay so this topic is kinda weird. Actually I asked one of my friends to suggest a topic and this is what he suggested! #fruitbanana #dodo

The rotten bananas remain on the hook,
browning and sagging,
dispensing a putrid odor into the room
of spoiled sweetness.

the small patches of burnt yellow
become overtaken with dark brown,
like a disease, spreading faster and faster

the toughimpenetrable skin slowly
decays into a soft, mushy clump
that although, is penetrable, is undesirable.

The golden burn of dusk
   kisses my window panes and walls;
On table tops it rests,
the moon and stars it calls.

Far above the horizon,
   the honey sun waves good-bye
With sighs of blues and purples,
   its glory's end is nigh.

The birds sing their last songs
   atop the birches' bough
And the sunset leave us thinking,
   "What do we really know?"
In another world it is rising,
but right here it hides from view,
burying its face, so when morrow comes
we can marvel its glory anew.

Never look back...

Never look back at your past,
The past is the past,
and nothing at last,
Look into the future,
for what you might see,
is you and me forever...

You might be a directioner if...

You might be a directioner if…
“what makes you beautiful”
makes you feel loved
if Harry’s solo in that song
makes your heart jump
if any mention of the words
one direction
makes you scream
if you continually pester your parents
to drive you to the same city
that they are in
if all you ever say is
I love 1D
If you would giggle when Harry is near
And try your hardest not to scream
If you would tell Niall that he has a beautiful smile
If you would panic if you ever
Came within 5 feet of you
You just might be a directioner
If you brought Up All Night
The instant it came out
And put their book on your birthday, Christmas, and Easter wish list
There’s a pretty good chance
Fortunately a cure
Has not been discovered
So if you spend your time watching 1D video diaries
And hearing “vas happening”
Makes you freak
You just might be
A directioner and we’d be happy
To let you be a part of this
And amaZAYN

She was just another girl....

She love him more than words
could describe,
more than action could tell,
more than her heart
could hold,
but he didn't know
cause she was just another girl,
in crowd,
screaming how much she loved him,
that girl was no one special
but he was the one.

(Harry love you to the moon and back)

If you had ever come...

If you had never come, I'd have never learned to laugh.
My sandwiches would still be whole, and never cut in half.
My voice would have never changed to high, or low.
You would love my favorite band, and I would never know.

If you had never come, the rain would feel so cold.
I would have lived alone forever, with a secret never told.
My tears would have no place to go, but down my cheeks in sorrow.
I'd have my own clothes, instead of yours to borrow.

If you had never come, my happiness would not have last.
There would be no names upon my bright orange cast.
I would be left alone, when I stopped to tie my shoes when walking.
No one to whisper to, as the teacher just keeps talking.

If you had never come, I would have never hopped a fence.
Doing something wrong would have never made much sense.
I never would have tasted the stars in the dead of night.
But instead, you are here with me forever, holding me tight.

-Khushi Jain

I'll be there for you!

There he goes walking with his friends
Little does he know he's got my heart tucked in his back pocket
I stand there waitin' for you to notice
That I'm crushin on you, boy, and I just can't stop it

He flashes a smile and I melt like butter

He speaks to me and I can only stutter

Here I stand staring at my feet

When he walks by, can he hear my heart beat?
It's got its melody when he's around
He picks me up when I'm feeling down

When he looks into my eyes and smiles

Can he see how much he drives me wild?
He's adorable and wonderful
Incredible and unbelievable

I wish I could tell him everything I feel

And hearts not the only thing I want to steal
His breath, his kiss
I wanna be the one he'll miss

When he closes his eyes

Wanna be his last goodbye
His most treasured

Forever we remain oblivious to the future,
lost to the past and enduring our torture.
Forever we take chances to settle our scores,
losing some battles and winning some wars.
Forever praying out loud hoping someone will hear,
forever crying softly but never shedding a tear.
Forever exists behind a disguise,
but the belief in forever keeps our hearts alive.
